On May 13th, the council member unit of the Federation of Chambers of Commerce and Industry donated an infrared thermal imaging thermometer worth 400,000 baht and 2,000 protective masks to the Thai Immigration Bureau. Sompong Chingduang, Director of the Immigration Department of Thailand, attended the donation ceremony and received anti-epidemic materials. Xie Chongtong, president of our association, and Wang Jiapeng, executive vice president, attended the donation ceremony.

Sompong Chingduang, Director of the Immigration Department of Thailand, expressed his gratitude for the donation of the Shenzhen Chamber of Commerce in Thailand. The Thai government has set up a temporary hospital in Songkhla to arrange for the isolation of suspected patients. The immigration bureau will take more stringent measures to control the inspection of entry personnel and prevent virus imports. The immigration bureau will also donate materials to the people in need, believing that the police and the people will be able to overcome the epidemic. Thanks for the donation from Shenzhen Chamber of Commerce. After the epidemic is lifted, Shenzhen friends are welcome to visit Thailand for sightseeing.

fight against epidemic

Since the outbreak of the COVID-19 in Thailand, the Association has received epidemic prevention materials donated by the Beijing Overseas Chinese Federation, the Shenzhen Overseas Chinese Federation, the Foshan CPPCC, and the Jilin Province Overseas Chinese Federation. Recently, the Thai Immigration Bureau has called on enterprises and associations to donate food to the general public and donate anti-epidemic materials to the isolation hospital in Songkhla Province on the border. The members of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry decided that I would donate some of the epidemic prevention materials to the Thai Immigration Bureau to help alleviate the shortage of epidemic prevention materials throughout Thailand and to share the difficulties with the Thai people. Next, I will continue to donate anti-epidemic materials to relevant departments and groups to help Thailand fight the new crown epidemic and restore the economy as soon as possible.
